At a time when most pan-India films are releasing with longer runtimes, Prabhas continues the trend with his upcoming film ‘The RajaSaab’, directed by Maruthi. The horror fantasy thriller is set for a Sankranthi release on 9th of this month.
The film has recently cleared censorship with a runtime of 3 hours and 9 minutes. A beheading scene in the movie was reportedly trimmed by the censor board.
The makers are planning special premiere shows on the night of 8th of this month, a day ahead of the release. Permissions have been sought from the governments of both Telugu states, including approval for an early morning 4 AM show in Telangana.
The film stars Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and Nidhhi Agerwal opposite Prabhas, with Sanjay Dutt playing the antagonist. Produced by Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the film features music by Thaman. The songs released so far have received a positive response from audiences.
