Kingdom Fame Venkatesh V.P. Set to Make His Telugu Hero Debut

Venkatesh V.P., who has established himself in the Malayalam television and film industries, is now preparing to take a new step in his career. He gained recognition among Telugu audiences with his performance as Murugan in Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom. He is now set to play the lead role in an upcoming Telugu film with the working title D.G.P.

The film is being produced by Bommaka Shiva under Rudransh Celluloid, the production house behind commercial projects such as K Ramp. Suresh Teja is directing the project, which is said to feature a different and engaging storyline.

The makers also released a fun video announcing Venkatesh’s entry as the hero. In the video, producer Bommaka Shiva and director Suresh Teja call Venkatesh while he is taking restaurant orders in Thiruvananthapuram. Initially, he assumes that they are approaching him for a villain role and shows little interest. When they reveal that he has been selected as the hero, he is pleasantly surprised. The video has received attention for its light-hearted presentation.
