Kayadu Lohar Breaks Silence on Immortal Promotions Controversy

Actress Kayadu Lohar, who is currently busy with a series of films including The Paradise, I Am Game, Suriya48 and Immortal, has found herself at the centre of a social media controversy. Kayadu and GV Prakash Kumar are the lead pair in Immortal, a romantic love story and thriller. Her absence from the film’s promotional activities led to criticism and trolling online.

Responding to the controversy in a recent interview, Kayadu explained that she had only one available day for the promotions of I Am Game, while the Immortal team was also occupied on that date. She said she attended the I Am Game promotions and then moved on to another film shoot, which made it impossible for her to participate in Immortal promotions. Kayadu added that she does not believe she owes anyone an explanation for her professional commitments and said she has become accustomed to different opinions and criticism surrounding her films.
