Bollywood actresses Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu’s long-running war of words has once again become a talking point. In a recent interview, Taapsee said she has no personal differences with Kangana and that the two have never met face-to-face. She added that her opinions and way of thinking reflect her upbringing. Kangana reacted strongly to the remark, objecting to the involvement of her parents and family background in the controversy and saying their struggles should not be undermined.
Kangana also made sharp remarks about Taapsee’s parents in posts shared on her Instagram Stories. She deleted the posts within a few hours, but screenshots had already gone viral on social media. The friction between the two actresses dates back to 2019 and intensified during the 2020 debate over nepotism in Bollywood. Taapsee has repeatedly maintained that she has never personally spoken against Kangana and has even said in the past that she would be open to being friends with her. Taapsee’s upcoming film ‘Gandhari’ is scheduled to stream on Netflix from September 3.
