Kamal Haasan, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and DSP Celebrate ‘Sing Geetham’

Legendary filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is set to present his prestigious dream project, Sing Geetham, which will hit theatres worldwide on June 11. Produced by Nag Ashwin under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema, the film stars Ayaan, Ahalya Bamroo and Shalini Kondepudi in key roles, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. A grand pre-release event was held in Chennai with Kamal Haasan attending as the chief guest. Kamal described the film as one he wished his own banner had produced and said that with Nag Ashwin backing the project, it felt as though he was associated with it himself. He praised Singeetam’s timeless storytelling and unmatched passion for cinema.

Speaking at the event, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao revealed that Sing Geetham is the fulfillment of a 40-year-old dream and credited Nag Ashwin and Vyjayanthi Movies for bringing the project to life with immense love and dedication. Devi Sri Prasad said Singeetam’s appreciation felt like receiving an Oscar Award and called the opportunity to compose music for the film a blessing. Veteran producer C. Ashwini Dutt expressed pride in seeing the long-awaited project finally materialize. The event also featured heartfelt speeches from the cast and crew, who described the film as a unique cinematic experience that celebrates creativity, music, and storytelling in an entirely new way.
