Kamal Haasan chooses economy travel for Kalki 2 shoot in telugu

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan has set an example for the film industry by opting for an economy-class flight instead of a chartered aircraft while traveling for the shoot of Kalki 2. The production house Vyjayanthi Movies shared his photo on social media, highlighting his decision to travel like a regular passenger.

Earlier, Kamal Haasan had urged the film industry to adopt cost-cutting measures amid rising global economic challenges, especially due to geopolitical tensions in West Asia. In a public letter, he emphasized that every rupee spent on cinema should be used wisely while ensuring fair wages, safety, food, transport, and dignity for workers involved in film production.

He also called for a collective agreement within Indian cinema to reduce unnecessary expenditure. Kamal Haasan is currently working on Kalki 2, starring Prabhas and directed by Nag Ashwin, with shooting underway in Hyderabad.
