Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 releases as Pushpa Kunrin in Japan!

Icon Star Allu Arjun’s career-defining blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule is all set to create waves in Japan. The film, which became a sensational success at the Indian box office, will be released in Japan under the title Pushpa Kunrin on January 16.

One of the major highlights driving Japanese interest is a special sequence set in a Japanese backdrop, including the iconic introduction fight scene where Allu Arjun delivers dialogues in Japanese. These elements have significantly increased curiosity among Japanese audiences.

Ahead of the release, Allu Arjun arrived in Tokyo along with his family and shared a picture from the city on his official Instagram handle. The film is being released in Japan through a collaboration between Geek Pictures, Shochiku, Mythri Movie Makers, and Sukumar Writings.

Directed by Sukumar with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, Pushpa 2 stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, with Fahadh Faasil in a key role. The film will have its Japanese premiere screenings on January 15, 2026.
