Janhvi Kapoor Condemns AI Misuse of Chuttamalle Song, Calls for Respect Towards Women

The misuse of artificial intelligence to create objectionable content involving women has triggered strong criticism from several members of the film industry. The controversy intensified after the song Chuttamalle from Devara was allegedly manipulated using AI to create inappropriate content. Actors including NTR, Chiranjeevi and Vijay Deverakonda condemned the act on social media, calling it unacceptable and deeply disturbing.

Actress Janhvi Kapoor also responded to the issue through a detailed Instagram Stories post. She said using AI to create and circulate content that demeans women is deeply humiliating and stressed that every woman has the right to decide what happens to her body and where her boundaries lie. Janhvi said women have long faced unwanted attention, judgement and concerns about safety in the real world, and that these fears are now extending into the digital space. She urged society to focus on changing attitudes, upbringing and social behaviour, while thanking NTR, Chiranjeevi, Vijay Deverakonda and Khushbu for publicly condemning such unethical practices.
