There are reports that the release of actor Vijay’s ‘Janayagan’ may be postponed again. Although there was a rumor that the film could be released in March after it was sent to the Censor Board’s revising committee, a new discussion has started with the recent announcement by ‘York Cinemas’, which releases Indian films in Canada.
In the statement released by the company, it was stated that the film ‘Janayagan’ will not be released before April 30. It has advised viewers who have already booked tickets to contact the relevant theaters. With this, fans are commenting on social media that the film may be released in May. There is also a rumor that the release may be delayed further in the wake of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
The film, directed by H. Vinod, was initially scheduled to release on January 9, but the release was postponed due to censor issues. After the matter reached the courts, the producers withdrew the writ petition and sent the film to the revising committee. Currently, an official announcement is awaited from the film team on the new release date.
