Is Yash Really That Special to Nayanthara?

Lady Superstar Nayanthara continues to stay busy with a series of promising projects, with Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups being one of her most anticipated films. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film’s trailer was launched at a grand event in Bengaluru, attended by the lead cast and crew. Speaking at the event, Nayanthara explained why she usually stays away from promotional activities. She clarified that it is not because she dislikes promotions, but because she does not consider herself particularly good at participating in such events.

Calling Toxic a very special film, Nayanthara made an interesting remark about Yash. She revealed that Yash personally called her and asked her to attend the trailer launch, and that one call was enough for her to make an appearance. Her comments about attending the event at Yash’s request have drawn considerable attention. Nayanthara will be seen as Ganga in the film, which is directed by Geetu Mohandas and stars Yash in the lead. Toxic is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026.
