Karthikeya and Shobu have revealed that one of the biggest lessons they learned from S.S. Rajamouli was the importance of an extensive and meticulously planned filmmaking process. They said that even a film made on a relatively smaller scale involved a large production effort, with as many as 79 locations being used. According to them, extensive pre-production planning was carried out well before filming began, with special attention given to preparing every sequence to create a strong impact on screen.

They also stressed the importance of preparation, discipline, clear communication and precision while working on every scene. The duo revealed that post-production continued for nearly six months after filming was completed. They explained that the grand visuals seen on screen are backed by detailed planning and close coordination between different departments. According to them, the experience highlighted how crucial pre-production and teamwork are to achieving the visual scale associated with Rajamouli’s films.
