Usually, re-releases come and go quietly, but Baahubali: The Epic Cut is creating the kind of storm only a new blockbuster can. The excitement is unbelievable. Tickets for the October 31 release are almost completely sold out at major Hyderabad theaters like Sudarshan and Bhramaramba. The 3-hour, 44-minute epic is being re-released on the big screen, and both fans and general audiences are flocking in to see it.
Even other movies are beginning to be impacted by the craze. According to reports, in order to avoid a direct conflict, Ravi Teja's Mass Jathara team intends to postpone the release by one day, from October 31 to November 1. Despite having a confident product, producer Naga Vamsi doesn't want to take the chance of competing with the Baahubali craze.
In the meantime, Aryan, Vishnu Vishal's brand-new psycho thriller that will be available in Telugu and Tamil, is also under pressure. Following the conflicting reactions to Rakshasudu's dubbed version, the actor has high expectations for this project. However, since Baahubali is generating the most buzz, Aryan will need to stand out through extraordinary word-of-mouth. It's obvious that Baahubali already has the advantage and unstoppable momentum as the box office prepares for a three-way fight.
