‘Irumudi’ Gets ‘Mallepoola Pallaki’ Song!

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and director Shiva Nirvana’s upcoming thriller and devotional film ‘Irumudi’ has generated considerable anticipation among moviegoers. The much-awaited special song ‘Mallepoola Pallaki’ was officially released at the film’s pre-release event on Sunday night. Based on a popular private album song, the track features vocals by Dappu Srinu and lyrics by Choudam Srinivasa Rao (Vasu). Music director GV Prakash Kumar retained the original tune, while choreographer Shekar Master created the dance sequences. Ravi Teja’s energetic mass steps and the vibrant visuals have emerged as the major highlights of the song.

While some listeners feel that the new version lacks a little of the original song’s charm, the track is receiving a positive response online. Several fans have also expressed their desire to retain the flavour of the original album version. Known for sensitive films such as ‘Ninnu Kori’ and ‘Majili’, Shiva Nirvana is taking a different route with ‘Irumudi’, blending thriller elements with a devotional backdrop. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, with Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira and Swasika in key roles. ‘Irumudi’ is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 21.
