Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Irumudi, directed by Shiva Nirvana and starring Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, is enjoying a strong run at the box office. The film arrived a week before Yash’s highly anticipated pan-India movie Toxic, which was expected to impact Irumudi’s performance in the Telugu states.
However, the latest weekend booking trend indicates that Irumudi is holding its ground strongly. According to the reported BookMyShow booking figures, Irumudi has crossed 23,000 tickets for the weekend, while Toxic has sold more than 15,000 tickets. With Irumudi achieving stronger bookings despite having fewer screens, the film’s momentum has become a talking point. If the trend continues, the Ravi Teja starrer could deliver more surprises at the box office.
