Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan has a massive global fan base, and his films have a special following in India as well. After the success of ‘Oppenheimer’, expectations are extremely high for Nolan’s latest film ‘The Odyssey’. Starring Hollywood actors Matt Damon and Tom Holland in key roles, the film is set to release on July 17 and advance bookings have received an overwhelming response across the country.
The film was shot entirely using IMAX 70mm film cameras, making audiences prefer watching it on IMAX screens for a premium cinematic experience. Due to high demand, ticket prices have reached premium levels in major cities. Recliner seats at PVR Icon Lower Parel in Mumbai are priced at around Rs 3,100, while select theatres in Delhi NCR have tickets up to Rs 2,500. Regular seats are also priced between Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,100 in several cities. Based on Greek mythology, the film is expected to create new records at the Indian box office.
