

Shruti Haasan, who has made a mark as a leading actress in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema, has also showcased her talent as a singer and director. The actress, who is currently busy with films such as Train and Aakasamlo Oka Tara, recently shared interesting details about her career in an interview that has gone viral on social media. She candidly revealed that money was the main reason she entered the film industry, as she needed funds to create independent music albums of her own.
Shruti said that when she received an offer to act in the Bollywood film Luck, she immediately agreed because she needed the money to pursue her musical ambitions. As more film offers came her way, acting gradually became her primary profession. She also recalled her first experience as a child artist in her father Kamal Haasan’s film Hey Ram. Explaining that her parents, Kamal Haasan and Sarika, were strict about their professional commitments, she said she often accompanied her father to film sets and acted in Hey Ram specifically for him.
