The trailer of Vadalaa, starring Jagapathi Babu and Laya in lead roles, has been officially launched ahead of its theatrical release on July 17. Directed by Vamsi Krishna Akella, the film features music by Karthik B. Kodakandla, while Hrithika Srinivas and Avasarala Srinivas play key supporting roles. The film is jointly produced by Thammareddy Bharadwaja and Kishore Naidu Chirumamilla under the Charitha Chitra banner.

During the trailer launch event, Jagapathi Babu drew laughter when he was asked if there was anything in his life he could never give up. He immediately replied, "Cigarette." The actor later praised Vadalaa, stating that the film has meaningful content and should not be judged unfairly. He also appealed to audiences and social media users to avoid unnecessary negativity, saying a positive environment is essential for the growth of the film industry.
