Huge expectations on Ram Charan’s “Peddi”

Tollywood is currently abuzz with massive expectations surrounding the upcoming pan-India sports drama “Peddi”, starring mega power star Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 4, and the makers have planned an extensive promotional campaign. However, the absence of lead actress Janhvi Kapoor from promotional activities has become a hot topic in the industry.

Janhvi Kapoor, who has been focusing on expanding her presence in South cinema, plays a de-glam rural role in the film. Despite positive responses to the released posters and songs, her absence from promotional content has disappointed fans. Rumors suggest she may have taken up the project primarily for a high remuneration and is less interested in promotions due to limited screen presence. Meanwhile, the makers have planned a massive “Peddi Power Play Tour” across major cities. The trailer will be launched in Mumbai on May 18, followed by a special event at Hyderabad’s Uppal Stadium on May 22 during the RCB vs SRH IPL match. Grand promotional events are scheduled in Bhopal, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Chennai, with the pre-release event set for June 2 in Hyderabad.
