

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s sports action drama Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has made a sensational start at the box office. Released worldwide on June 4 amid huge expectations, the film has registered record breaking collections on its opening day, surprising trade analysts.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the film opened with strong advance hype. Premier shows held on Wednesday night received an excellent response, which continued into the first day collections across theatres worldwide.
As per trade reports, Peddi collected around ₹69.50 crore net in India on its first day, including premiere earnings. The domestic gross stood at over ₹82 crore, while overseas markets contributed more than ₹30 crore. With a worldwide gross crossing ₹112 crore on day one, the film has recorded one of the biggest openings for Ram Charan as a solo lead. The Telugu version contributed the highest share, with strong performance across Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions.
