

Tollywood star and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has shared an interesting story about how he got his popular screen name. After establishing himself as one of the leading actors in Telugu cinema, Pawan Kalyan entered politics and founded the Jana Sena Party. Today, he continues to balance his political responsibilities while remaining one of the most influential personalities in the Telugu states.
Speaking at a recent event, Pawan Kalyan revealed that his original name was ‘Sri Kalyan Kumar’. He explained that the word ‘Sri’ was omitted from his school records, leaving his name as K. Kalyan Kumar. Later, his martial arts instructor added the word ‘Pawan’ before his name, which eventually became the identity by which millions know him today. His remarks have since gone viral among fans and followers on social media.
