After delivering successful films like Little Hearts, Raju Weds Rambai and Isha, the Bunny Vasu – Vamsi Nandipati duo is coming with a new entertainer ‘Hey Bhagavan’. The film stars Suhas, Shivani Nagaram, Naresh and anchor Sravanti in key roles. Directed by Gopi Achara and produced by B. Narendra Reddy under Trishul Visionary Studios, the movie is set for release on February 20. Producer Vamsi Nandipati said the film is a complete family entertainer that blends humor with emotion.
The story includes an interesting “business” element which helps a son understand his father emotionally. The topic was highlighted in the trailer to create curiosity. Since the father’s character name is Bhagavan, the film was titled ‘Hey Bhagavan’, though it may change due to censor suggestions. He expressed confidence that this movie will become the biggest commercial success in Suhas’s career.
He added that he works more like a creative strategist than just a producer and always gives directors full freedom. Small films are not decreasing but increasing, and even though OTT clarity has come, many films are still being made only for OTT. He has no plans to direct and wants to continue producing good films. Polimera-3 is in pre-production and more projects will be announced soon.
