Hero Siddu Jonnalagadda Receives the Soggadu Shobhan Babu Award

Legendary actor Natabhushana Shobhan Babu continues to live on in the hearts of audiences through his memorable films, even though he is no longer with us physically. His fans, under the banner of the Akhila Bharata Shobhan Babu Seva Samithi, have been actively carrying forward his legacy by regularly organizing various social service activities in an inspiring manner. Recently, in association with Suresh Productions, the Samithi successfully organized the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the iconic film Soggadu.

On the occasion of Shobhan Babu’s birth anniversary today, the Akhila Bharata Shobhan Babu Seva Samithi announced the institution of a new annual award in his name the Soggadu Shobhan Babu Award to honor a promising young actor who has demonstrated exceptional talent and merit. The announcement was made by Honorary Chairman of the Samithi and Rashi Movies Narasimha Rao, along with Advisor Jeshta Ramesh Babu, Producer J. Ramanjaneyulu, President Sudhakar Babu and Conveners Sai Kamaraj, Pudi Srinivasa Rao, Veer Prasad, Balasubrahmanyam, B. Srinivasa Rao, U. Vijay, Kurra Rambabu and Dhara Satyam.

For this year, the award has been conferred on young actor Siddu Jonnalagadda in recognition of his impressive performances and growing popularity. The award will be formally presented at a special ceremony to be organized shortly under the banner of Shreyas Media, the organizers announced.
