Hero DSP Joins the Shoot of ‘Yellamma’

Star music director Devi Sri Prasad is all set to make his acting debut as the lead actor with ‘Yellamma’. Directed by Venu Yeldandi of ‘Balagam’ fame, the film features Surabhi as the female lead and is being produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The shoot began recently, with key scenes involving Prakash Raj and Surabhi already filmed. Devi Sri Prasad has now reportedly joined the shoot, with important scenes featuring Devi Sri Prasad, Prakash Raj, Uttej and Racha Ravi currently being filmed.

The makers are reportedly planning to release ‘Yellamma’ in February next year. Several promotional materials released from the film have already received a positive response from audiences, creating good expectations around the project. Having delivered numerous successful albums as a music director, Devi Sri Prasad’s transition to a lead actor has generated considerable curiosity.
