Director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming film ‘January 12 Release’ stars Victory Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram in the lead roles, with Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty as the female leads. The makers have already announced that the film will hit theatres on January 12 next year as a Sankranti release. Anil Ravipudi, who is also serving as a judge on the Zee Telugu show ‘Drama Juniors’, recently hosted Kalyan Ram and producer Sahu Garapati on the programme. During the episode, the team shared several interesting updates about the much-awaited film. Sahu Garapati expressed confidence that the upcoming Sankranti season would be a major one for Telugu cinema.

Kalyan Ram also revealed an interesting update about the shooting progress. While Anil Ravipudi had earlier mentioned that the first half had been completed, Kalyan Ram revealed that a major scene from the second half has already been filmed. During the interaction, Sudigali Sudheer jokingly referred to Anil Ravipudi as ‘Flashman’, leaving everyone on the show laughing. Ravipudi also humorously said that he gets nervous whenever Kalyan Ram takes the microphone. The latest update indicates that the film’s shooting is progressing at a rapid pace and may be wrapping up faster than initially expected.
