As December 19 gets closer, James Cameron’s Avatar 3: Fire and Ash is ready for release, but the excitement in India is much lower than it was for the earlier films. The first Avatar in 2009 created huge hype because of its stunning visuals and became a massive hit. Avatar 2 also opened well, but it could not continue strongly at the box office in India. Because of this drop, people are not showing the same level of interest in the third part.
The teasers and trailers of Avatar 3 also failed to impress many viewers. People felt that the movie looked too similar to Avatar 2 and didn’t offer anything new or exciting. Unless James Cameron brings fresh visuals or a new kind of story, the film may struggle to attract big crowds in Indian theatres, despite being a huge global franchise.
