The new Prabhas film "Fauzi," which will be a two-part franchise with the second part acting as a prequel, was formally announced by Mythri Movie Makers. This is the first time Prabhas has worked with Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi. The movie is characterized as a massively scaled fictional retelling of historical events.
Part 1 will showcase one Prabhas world, while Part 2 will delve into an entirely different realm rooted in India's colonial past, according to director Hanu Raghavapudi. He claimed that tragic yet intriguing historical tales as well as personal experiences that profoundly affected him served as inspiration for the story. He remarked, "There is a lot of material from our colonial past that feels like fairy tales in another reality."
"Fauzi" is Mythri's most ambitious project and also signifies Prabhas' return to big-scale period dramas following Baahubali. It is said that by bringing Prabhas and the Pushpa makers together, the movie unites two generations of moviegoers. With the tagline, "The bravest tale of a soldier," the movie aims to unearth a lost tale of bravery and valor.
