Teja Sajja's Hanu Man, directed by Prasanth Varma, emerged as a nationwide blockbuster during its original theatrical release. Blending the superhero genre with Indian mythology, the film won widespread appreciation from audiences and achieved remarkable box office success. However, its recently released 3D version has reportedly failed to recreate the same excitement, leading to discussions within the film industry about its underwhelming performance.
The 3D re-release, which opened in Hyderabad and a few other major cities with limited shows, reportedly witnessed modest bookings and a lukewarm audience response. As a result, the film's box office collections have been impacted. Starring Amritha Aiyer as the female lead, with music composed by Gowra Hari, the PrimeShow Entertainment production remains a memorable blockbuster, although its re-release has not matched the success of its original run.
