Gajendra Chauhan, best known for portraying Yudhishthir in BR Chopra’s iconic Mahabharat, has shared his views on the upcoming film Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. Chauhan questioned the use of the title “Ramayana” instead of the traditional Hindi title “Ramayan.” He also expressed doubts about Ranbir Kapoor’s casting as Lord Ram, raising questions about how the actor would portray the revered character.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, while Yash plays a key role. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Lara Dutta and Sheeba Chaddha in important roles. With the project already generating considerable anticipation, Chauhan’s comments have sparked discussion among film circles and audiences.
