

Actress Janhvi Kapoor, who gained popularity among Telugu audiences with Devara, is currently starring alongside Ram Charan in 'Peddi'. In a recent interaction, she shared several personal insights about her life, family, spirituality, and future aspirations. Janhvi said she is excited to portray the character of Achiyamma in Peddi and believes the role will connect well with audiences. Although she lives in Mumbai, she considers Hyderabad her second home and hopes to work more frequently in Telugu and Tamil cinema.
Janhvi also spoke emotionally about the loss of her mother, Sridevi, saying her memories continue to inspire and guide her. She recalled trying to stop her father from smoking during her childhood by damaging cigarettes. The actress admitted that she consumed alcohol for a brief period during the COVID-19 pandemic but eventually gave it up completely. She also highlighted her close bond with her sister Khushi Kapoor and her deep devotion to Lord Venkateswara.
Speaking about her future, Janhvi said she dreams of having a simple wedding in Tirupati and eventually settling there with three children. She added that chanting “Govinda” daily and enjoying meals served on banana leaves are among her long-cherished wishes. Janhvi described herself as a positive-minded person who values inner beauty and places great trust in people.
