From Box Office Flop to OTT Sensation: War 2 Wins Hearts Online

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s highly awaited action drama War 2 may have struggled at the box office, but it is now making waves on OTT platforms. After its theatrical release failed to impress audiences, the film premiered on Netflix on October 9 and quickly became the most-watched movie in India.According to recent Ormax data, War 2 attracted over 3.5 million views in just a few days. Despite Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie (Hindi version) releasing around the same time, it couldn’t match the streaming numbers of War 2. Both films had released in theaters on August 14.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 stars Kiara Advani alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, with Anil Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, and Varun Badola in important supporting roles. Fans are thrilled to see the film finally receiving the love it deserved on digital platforms.
