Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan reportedly made a special cameo appearance as Roddy in Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Jailer 2, which is said to be approaching the Rs. 600 crore mark. Earlier reports suggested that Hrithik charged around Rs. 25 crore for his cameo, creating considerable buzz among fans. However, fresh reports now claim that the actor did not take any remuneration for his appearance and agreed to act for free out of respect and gratitude for Superstar Rajinikanth. The reported cameo has attracted attention because of the combination of two popular stars from Indian cinema. However, the claims regarding Hrithik’s remuneration remain unconfirmed, and no definitive clarification has emerged from the actors or the production team.
According to circulating reports, the initial figure of Rs. 25 crore may have been based on Hrithik’s usual fee rather than the amount he actually received for Jailer 2. Some reports further suggest that the production house, Sun Pictures, was hesitant to pay such a large amount for a cameo, and Rajinikanth may have played a role in the discussions. However, these details have not been officially confirmed. The actual agreement between Hrithik Roshan, Rajinikanth and the filmmakers remains known only to those directly involved. Until an official statement is released, the claims that Hrithik acted without payment or initially demanded Rs. 25 crore should be treated as reports rather than established facts.
