Forgotten Genius Returns to the Big Screen With ‘GDN’

The upcoming biopic ‘GDN’, based on the life of legendary Indian scientist and inventor G.D. Naidu, is creating strong buzz among movie lovers. Actor Madhavan is playing the lead role in the film, directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar. Backed by Varghese Moolan Pictures and Tricolour Films, the movie is being made on a grand scale. The recently released poster showcased Madhavan in a powerful look as G.D. Naidu, while Dushara Vijayan impressed audiences in a traditional saree appearance.

The caption, “He frightened the British… but was forgotten by his own people,” has raised curiosity around the film. The makers aim to introduce the inspiring story of one of India’s greatest inventors to the younger generation. Along with Madhavan and Dushara, actors Jayaram, Yogi Babu, and Priyamani play important roles in the movie. The pan-India film is scheduled for a grand release on July 17 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
