

The Film Nagar Cultural Center is set to recognize and encourage small budget films this year, revealed its president K.S. Rama Rao. Speaking to the media on Friday, he said that films made with budgets under ten crores will be awarded. A special ceremony scheduled for December 31 will honor these films and talents. Among the awards, the film ‘Court’ will be recognized as Best Film, Akhil Raj from ‘Raju Weds Rambai’ will receive Best Actor, Tejaswi Rao will be awarded Best Actress, and Sailu Kompati will be honored as Best Director.
In addition to the awards for small films, the ceremony will also felicitate veteran producers Ashwini Dutt and Allu Aravind for completing 50 years in the film industry. Kaja Suryanarayana will be honored for his contributions to the development of Film Nagar Club. The initiative reflects Film Nagar Cultural Center’s continuous effort to support emerging talent and innovative cinema.
