Film Federation Holds Emergency Meeting

The Hyderabad Film Federation held an emergency meeting, during which federation council members reportedly expressed strong displeasure over the conduct of Dancers Association president Sumalatha. The federation president said the suspension imposed on choreographer Johnny Master would continue. He also announced that the ₹3 lakh amount given by Johnny Master to the federation would be returned.

The federation president further clarified that the organisation would continue to support the other 24 crafts, except the Dancers Association. Members reportedly raised objections over the functioning of the Dancers Association president during the meeting. The federation discussed the ongoing issues between various sections of the film industry before taking these decisions.
