Film Chamber Holds Key Meeting on Theatre Percentage System

The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce held a joint meeting of producers, exhibitors, and distributors on 15-05-2026 in Hyderabad to discuss the ongoing percentage system issue in the exhibition sector. The meeting was aimed at reaching an amicable solution between exhibitors and producers regarding revenue sharing.

It was decided to form a sub-committee under the guidance of industry leaders including TFCC President D. Suresh Babu, Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, and others. The committee will include members from producer, exhibitor, and distributor sectors to study and finalize the percentage-based system. The committee has been instructed to submit its report within two months to the Film Chamber.
