Film Chamber Finally Releases Official Press Note on ‘Peddi’ Percentage Dispute

The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has finally issued an official press note regarding the ongoing percentage dispute related to the film ‘Peddi’. After extensive discussions with exhibitors over the percentage policy, the statement was released under the signature of chamber president D. Suresh Babu. He clarified that an earlier letter circulated on social media without his signature was completely fake.

Following a key exhibitors’ meeting, an official communication was issued outlining that a new percentage system will be finalized either before the next major film release or by the end of June 2026. The chamber stated that all conditions proposed by producers were discussed within set timelines. Telangana Film Chamber Secretary Sridhar added that a final decision will be taken only after consulting Telangana exhibitors and considering their feedback.
