Farah Khan Says YouTube Earnings May Have Surpassed Her Best Film-Era Income

Bollywood filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has found an unexpected new source of success through YouTube. After launching her cooking-focused vlog channel in 2024, Farah quickly built a strong digital following with videos featuring celebrities, family moments, food and her longtime cook Dilip. Their natural chemistry and humorous conversations have become one of the channel’s biggest attractions.

Farah has now revealed that the earnings from her digital content have been surprisingly high. In a conversation with Soha Ali Khan, she said that she may not have earned as much in any single year during her film career as she has through YouTube. She also highlighted the creative independence the platform offers, saying that unlike films and television, she can decide what to make and how to present it without traditional production or broadcasting restrictions.
