The team of Peddi, starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has reportedly filed a police complaint against two individuals for spreading false information online. The accused, identified as youths from Guntur and Hyderabad, were allegedly creating intentional negativity about the film on social media platforms. After gathering evidence, the film team approached the police, though official confirmation is awaited. The makers are maintaining strict vigilance to protect the film’s reputation.
Earlier, the production house had also taken legal steps to prevent leaks of scenes and songs from the film. Acting on a petition related to copyright protection, the Madras High Court issued interim orders restricting unauthorized uploading, sharing, or copying of the film’s content online. With these proactive measures, the team aims to ensure a smooth release without disruptions. Fans have welcomed the efforts, as the film is set for a worldwide release on June 4.
