

"I am surprised that I have completed 50 years in films. These 50 years have been ten or fifteen years for me. Time has passed so quickly because of my immense love for cinema.
Even if I have another hundred births, I want God to reincarnate me as Rajinikanth," said hero Rajinikanth. The closing ceremony of the 58th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) was held in Goa on the night of November 28 with great pomp. Rajinikanth, who has been providing unparalleled services to Indian cinema for 50 years, was felicitated on this stage. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant felicitated Rajinikanth with a shawl and presented a special memento. After the felicitation, Bollywood star hero Ranveer Singh kissed Rajinikanth's hand on stage. 50 films produced by women directors were screened at IFFI. Union Minister Murugan said that the IFFI at Waves Film Bazaar generated a business of Rs 1000 crore.
The list of winners of the IFFI Awards was announced and the awards were presented. Vietnamese film 'Skin of Youth' was adjudged the best film and won the prestigious Golden Peacock Award. Upamar Rios (Spanish film- A Poet) was adjudged the best actor. 'Zara Sofia Ostan' (Slovenian film- Little Trouble Girls) was adjudged the best actress, and Santosh Dawakhar (Marathi film- Gondal) was adjudged the best director. Karan Singh Tyagi (Kesari: Chapter 2) received the award for the best Indian debut director. Hindi series Bandish Bandits 2 was adjudged the best web series.
