Fans of Mohanlal and cinema lovers have received disappointing news as the release of Drishyam 3 has been postponed. The makers officially confirmed the delay, with Mohanlal himself sharing the update on X. He wrote, “The past never stays silent. It waits. Georgekutty arrives on May 21, 2026.” The much-awaited film is directed by Jeethu Joseph, continuing their successful collaboration that delivered blockbuster hits with the previous Drishyam installments.
Meanwhile, the Hindi version of Drishyam 3, starring Ajay Devgn, is progressing rapidly and is scheduled for release on October 2. The Drishyam franchise revolves around a gripping family drama centered on an accidental crime. Originally made in Malayalam with Mohanlal, the film was later remade in multiple languages, including Telugu featuring Venkatesh, and has consistently captivated audiences across India.
