Doubts over Drishyam 3

The third installment of the ‘Drisyam’ franchise, which achieved sensational success in Malayalam, is gearing up for release this year. There are huge expectations on this final installment, which is being made by director Jeethu Joseph and hero Mohanlal. However, at the same time, there is uncertainty over the Telugu remake.

In Telugu, the films ‘Drisyam’ and ‘Drisyam 2’ have achieved good success as the hero of Venkatesh. But as Venkatesh is currently busy with ‘Adarsha Kutumb’, which is being directed by Trivikram, and later with Anil Ravipudi’s project, it has become difficult to allocate time for the shooting of ‘Drisyam 3’.

Film sources believe that if the Malayalam version is released first and then comes on OTT, the twists in the story are likely to be revealed earlier, which could affect the Telugu remake. However, since Venkatesh is unlikely to leave this part that will end the franchise, it has become interesting to know when the Telugu version will start.
