The controversy surrounding Don 3 has intensified in Bollywood, now reaching the legal stage. Actor Ranveer Singh has sent legal notices to Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) after the organization imposed a ban on him. While complete details of the notice are yet to be revealed, FWICE Chief Advisor and filmmaker Ashoke Pandit confirmed receiving the notices. He also announced a press meet in Mumbai later today, raising anticipation about the official response from the organization.
The dispute stems from Don 3, a project planned by filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, from which Ranveer reportedly stepped away midway. FWICE had earlier issued a directive asking industry members not to collaborate with the actor until he resolves a reported ₹45 crore pre-production loss dispute with the producers. Responding to the situation, Ranveer’s team stated that he holds immense respect for the film industry and has remained silent to avoid impacting the film’s success. The ongoing legal developments have now drawn significant attention across the industry.
