Director Shiva Nirvana Responds to Criticism Over ‘Mallepoola Pallaki’ Song

Director Shiva Nirvana has responded to the discussion on social media over the singer’s voice base following the release of the ‘Mallepoola Pallaki’ song. He said the team was already aware that the voice would not exactly match the original version. Since the original song was released more than 15 years ago, he explained that changes in a singer’s voice with age are natural.

Shiva Nirvana clarified that Dappu Srinu was chosen to sing the song with the intention of respecting and honouring the original singer. He explained the thought behind the team’s decision while responding to the criticism surrounding the singer’s voice after the song’s release.
