Tamil young actor Pradeep Ranganathan, who delivered sensational hits with his first three films Love Today, Dragon and Dude, has faced a setback with his recent film Love Insurance Company, which received mixed reviews and ended up as a flop, thereby breaking his hit streak. Interestingly, this project was originally planned for Sivakarthikeyan.
The film was initially announced in 2019 with director Vignesh Shivan starring Sivakarthikeyan and was scheduled for release in 2020, but it was delayed due to various reasons. After multiple postponements over six years, the film was eventually made with Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, but it still ended up with mixed results. Although the sci-fi romantic comedy had an interesting concept, the second half was reportedly slow. Following his first setback, attention has now shifted to Pradeep’s upcoming projects, with audiences keen to see how his future films will perform.
