Defamation lawsuit reports are false, says actress Khushi Mukherjee

Actress and social media influencer Khushi Mukherjee has responded for the first time to the controversy surrounding her comments on Team India star and T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav. She strongly denied reports claiming that Suryakumar had filed a Rs 100 crore defamation case against her, calling such news completely false. Khushi clarified that she has not received any legal notice so far and stated that her remarks were misinterpreted and blown out of proportion without any malicious intent.

Khushi further accused the media of sensationalizing the issue, saying a minor matter was unnecessarily turned into a major controversy due to the lack of newsworthy topics. She also alleged that some influencers entered the controversy purely for publicity. Reiterating her stand, Khushi said she had committed no legal wrongdoing and described the entire episode as a manufactured and baseless controversy.
