

At the Hyderabad Police's Ekta Diwas 2K Run, megastar Chiranjeevi, wearing the Ayyappa maala, spoke about the growing risks of Deepfake technology and AI abuse. He praised the occasion for exemplifying Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's idea of solidarity, which still characterizes contemporary India.
Speaking to the media, Chiranjeevi commended Hyderabad Cyber Police Commissioner Sajjanar and his group for taking the initiative to combat cybercrimes. In order to stop the production and dissemination of Deepfake videos and other types of online abuse, he added, the government is drafting stronger legislation.
Although technology has made life easier, Chiranjeevi stressed that awareness and legal action are needed to control its negative aspects. He exhorted people to use technology sensibly, avoid upsetting or hurting others just for amusement or attention. Regarding his career, Chiranjeevi is now filming Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which is slated for release in Sankranti and is being directed by Anil Ravipudi.
