DC with Lokesh as Lead Actor, Ready with High-Voltage Action

After delivering back-to-back successful films as a director, Lokesh Kanagaraj is now stepping into the lead role with his upcoming gangster action drama ‘DC’. Directed by Arun Matheswaran of ‘Captain Miller’ fame, the film stars Bollywood actress Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead. Produced by Sun Pictures on a grand scale, the makers had initially planned to release the film on July 31.

The makers have now announced a major update regarding the film’s release. The censor formalities have been completed, and the movie has received an ‘A’ certificate from the censor board. The certification is reportedly due to intense action sequences and violent content in the film. The release has been postponed by a week, and ‘DC’ will now hit theatres worldwide on August 7. Expectations are high as Lokesh’s performance combines with Arun Matheswaran’s action-driven storytelling.
