

Actor-director R. Parthiban has issued an apology over the words he used during his speech at the pre-release event of Ustaad Bhagat Singh. The film, directed by Harish Shankar and starring Pawan Kalyan, is set to hit theatres on March 19. Parthiban, who plays the antagonist in the film, faced criticism after he mentioned a caste reference while introducing himself on stage, sparking debate on social media.
Responding to the backlash, Parthiban clarified that the remark was unintentional and expressed regret. He stated that he has consistently opposed the caste system through his films and had no intention of making such a statement. Calling it a slip of the tongue, he assured that such an incident would not be repeated. Meanwhile, the film has generated strong buzz ahead of its release, with celebrities extending their wishes for its success. Co-starring Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna, the movie features music by Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman S. The trailer and songs have already heightened expectations among fans.
