Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has shared insights about her evolving film journey, stating that she now prefers women-centric and performance-oriented roles over purely commercial films. In a recent interview, she said that roles offering strong acting scope and inner satisfaction bring her greater joy than box office success alone. She also expressed happiness over being compared to legendary Hollywood actresses by director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, noting that such appreciation adds responsibility. Despite receiving critical acclaim for films like Akira, Lootera, and Force 2, she acknowledged that they did not achieve expected commercial success. However, she believes those experiences helped her grow as an actor.
