Comrade Kalyan Holds Strong After Opening Weekend

Sree Vishnu’s latest comedy drama, Comrade Kalyan, has performed well over its opening weekend at the box office. Although the film started slowly on its opening day, it gained momentum with the evening shows following positive audience reports. It also maintained a steady performance on its first working day, helping it achieve hit status. Trade reports indicate that buyers are already in a safe position, while the film’s performance against the new Dussehra releases will determine whether it can emerge as a superhit. Mahima Nambiar plays the female lead.

Directed by Janakiram Marella, Comrade Kalyan also features Satya, Radhika, Sudarshan, Shine Tom Chacko, Upendra Limaye and Sai Chand in key roles. The film is presented by Kona Venkat and produced by Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati under the Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP banner. Vijay Bulganin has composed the music.
